This is a good case against the bill to ban incandscent light bulbs. Incandescent is a great energy saver, but there are quite a few other problems. That is why at Summalux, we’re focusing on LED technology. LEDs are energy efficient, don’t contain mercury, and friendlier on the eyes.

I’m not a fan though of banning incandescent bulbs outright. I don’t really think it is the government’s place to do so, even if the ban might help sales of our forthcoming product.
