This weekend and Monday my team and I worked on this concept design for a portable classroom for West Philadelphia as part of a charette for Architecture for Humanity. The entire design is modular and made from cargo containers and concrete using brick rubble from Philadelphia as the aggregate. Not only are the classrooms cheap, but the construction of them would create a local industry and help clean up the city.

Special thanks to the amazingly talented Brian Gadomski for making the video and Cameron Sinclair for being awesome.
