20th & Chestnut Wawa Closing →
Seriously, Wawa is closing my local Wawa. Where am I supposed to get a sub in the middle of the night? They just closed the Rittenhouse one recently, and there closing another one soon too. Seems like they’re trying to pull out of the city. No idea why, especially after the Rittenhouse one closed, they seem to be doing really well at 20th & Chestnut.

This weekend and Monday my team and I worked on this concept design for a portable classroom for West Philadelphia as part of a charette for Architecture for Humanity. The entire design is modular and made from cargo containers and concrete using brick rubble from Philadelphia as the aggregate.
